Life Planning

What must happen in your life right now, in order for you to feel “good” about yourself ?

Do you have to have a job? Do you have to be married? Do you have to go on vacation? Do you have to get a new car every four years…whether you can afford it or not!

For most people, there are some items that are not negotiable; there are some experiences that must happen in our lives, in order for us to feel balanced and to feel good about ourselves.

Otherwise we slide into a sea of depression followed by low self-esteem.

Actually, “we have to oversee six areas in our lives in order to feel well and balanced, says Dr. Sue – our spirit, mind,  learning, health, relationships and community.

We are constantly reminded by ourselves and others when any of these areas needs attention. Life is not easy… I guess that’s why our inner spirit longs for the simple life of trees, grass, flip-flops, and cotton shirts.

The easy life … where our income and bills are on automatic each month at the bank”.

“When you feel the tension that comes with striving says Dr. Sue, open up your bible and start to think about God the almighty, this is about the only way to quench the thirst of capitalism”.

Psalm 63 verse 1* says, ” O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.”
